  • Is your child terrified of speaking in public?  Are you looking for a place for your child to develop public speaking skills?  If so, then this speech class is for your child!  Through this class, students will be taught the fundamentals of how to become an accomplished speaker.  They will be taught three different types of speeches: platform, interpretive, and limited preparation.  Students will have the opportunity to practice their speaking skills each week, whether it be through a prepared speech, impromptu speech, constructive evaluation, or class games.  Students will be taught creative ways to deal with thier nervousness and how to conquer their fear of public speaking.  Ultimately, students will be able to use these skills to speak up for what they believe in.  Students under age 10 may be admitted upon instructors consent.
