Beginning and advanced students will be combined in this course. Students start with basic beading techniques, stringing styles, and clasps. Seed beading, ethnic and multi-strand will be covered. Students later learn to work with basic hand tools to make links and connections with wire. Students will make a final piece of their own design using the techniques they have learned.  Tools necessary are beads of the student's choosing, small lengths of string materials, round nose pliers, flat nose pliers, wire, and goggles.  Stringing material, some beads and other items will be available through the instructor in a kit at the start of classes.
